The Adel DeSoto Minburn School Board will hold their May meeting tonight.
Items on the agenda include consideration of sealed bids for $3.78 million in general obligation bonds, a public hearing in regards to the fiscal year 2015 budget amendment and a public hearing about the high school roof project.
A contract for the roof project will then be approved, followed by change orders for the Adel Elementary and DeSoto Intermediate School projects. The Board will then consider an athletic training agreement for the upcoming school year and approve purchase of English Language Arts resources.
Discussion items include Teacher Leadership and Compensation planning, the grading scale for 6th through 12th graders, the athletic facility master plan and an update on construction projects.
Finally, the Board will then enter a closed session in regards to negotiations with non-union employees and administrative personnel.
The meeting takes place at 6pm in the boardroom in Adel.
