The West Central Valley boys soccer team will take part in the four team Valley Tournament at Stuart today. The other three teams are Nodaway Valley, Avoca and Clarinda Academy. West Central Valley head coach Jon Boss says the Avoca team is one that he thinks could be the toughest game. “I know Avoca’s been playing some good soccer recently. They could potentially give us some trouble if we don’t come ready.”

The Wildcats of West Central Valley have a 5-1 record this season and are the 9th best team in the state in Class 1-A, according to the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association.
