Visitors to Panora’s Guthrie County Historical Village will find some new exhibits when the museum opens next week. Museum curator Kristine Jorgensen says a new exhibit about the county’s historic mills will be a highlight. “We will have pictures and items, and all kinds of information about Lenon mill. To go along with that, we’ll have information about the Dale City woolen mill. We were given a very nice donation and in receiving that donation it was requested that we do something highlighting the Dale City area and so we thought this tied in really well with our mill display.”
Jorgensen will be our guest today on Let’s Talk Guthrie County to talk about what else you can expect to see this season at the Guthrie County Historical Village. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com
