The Greene County girls’ golf team defeated St. Edmond of Ft. Dodge 223-227 on Monday at The Hill west of Grand Junction. The Rams are on a bit of a roll after winning a triangular on Friday in Perry vs. the Jayettes and Des Moines Christian.

St. Edmond had the meet medalist in Maggie Fitzgerald with a 46 for the nine holes. Rachael Danielson and Lakota Larson both shot 54 for Greene County with Katelyn Hagen at 56, and Mackenzie Dennhardt at 59.

Ram coach Heath Telleen noted Hagen’s score was seven shots lower than her previous best, and he added he was proud of all the girls for doing well on a cool and windy afternoon.
