Perry fans are used to hearing junior Kade Van Kirk score takedowns on the wrestling mats.  After all, he is a 3 year state wrestling participant for Head Coach Trevor Kittleson.  However, Van Kirk has found another way to take down opponents this spring and its happening on the golf course.

“Kade has really looked good so far this spring,” added Perry Golf Coach Nick Field, who ironically is a big wrestling enthusiast as well.  “He has shot a couple of 43’s already this year and that was after he took a 9 on a par 5 hole.  So he very easily could have it the upper 30’s.  If he keeps shooting there and combine that with Noah, Jack and Will, we’ll have a pretty solid team that will be tough to deal with.”

Van Kirk and the Bluejays will travel to State Center today for the West Marshall Invitational at 2:00.
