The Dallas County Conservation Board invites everyone to help them collect information for the Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Diversity program.
A Frog and Toad Survey Workshop is scheduled for Monday, April 13th at the Forest Park Museum. Attendees will learn the breeding calls of 16 different species of frogs and toads found in Iowa. They will then be able to select survey routes to practice their newly developed skills and share the information with the DNR.
The cost to participate is $10 which includes a meal, CD, training guide and safety equipment.
The program takes place from 5:30-9pm at the Forest Park Museum.
