A career fair at West Central Valley High School will take place this afternoon. Event organizer Alpha Mendelson says the 90 organizations there represent a wide range of career opportunities. “Lots of colleges, all of the military branches will be here. Adair County Health Systems, Guthrie County Health Systems, our own community care center. We have a sports trainer who worked with several professional teams. The site manager from Facebook is coming, it will be a lot of fun for the kids to talk to her. That’s just naming a few.”

The career fair is open to the public and takes place from 1 to 3:30 pm in the West Central Valley High School gym.
