The Perry boys soccer team is trying to put the success of last year behind them.  The Bluejays begin a new chapter next Saturday when they host the Perry Invitational.  The Bluejays were state runner ups a season ago and Head Coach Gary Overla is quick to remind them that last season is over.  “That’s a great question.  We just keep telling them that while we’re proud of what we accomplished last year, it means nothing moving into this year.  We want to build off of the momentum but not rest or be satisfied with last year’s success.  Look at Norwalk for example.  Year after year they produce a winning product never having a problem looking back.  We want to be like them.”
