Youngsters in the Perry area are invited to learn the fundamentals of America’s favorite pastime this spring.
The Perry Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Tiny Tot Instructional T-Ball program starting later this month. Boys and girls, ages four and five, will have the opportunity to hit a pitched ball or off the tee. They will also learn how to throw, catch and run the bases.
The program starts March 30th and runs Mondays through April 20th inside the McCreary Community Building. Parents are still needed to help out as volunteers.
The cost to participate is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Registration is due by March 27th. To sign-up or get more information, stop by the recreation center or call 465-5621.
