Everyone is invited tomorrow night to the Greene County Middle School’s production of “Camp OMIGOSH.”
Director Angie Pederson says the family comedy is about a group of kids that attend a summer camp that involves plant zombies, ghosts and aliens.
There are 20 students in the cast. Participating students include: Arthur Bardole, Fallon Heater, Cody Gilbertson, Lauren Swain, Maddy Cannon, Naomi Long, Will Funcke, Evan Woodruff, Kaitlyn Tjostems, Hannah Yetter, Natalie Payan, Crawford Petterson, Ellie Madson, Ashlee Harmeyer, Braxton Holderby, Robert Lenchanko, Markus Rosenow, Zara Emmick, Jordan Davis and Hannah Gliem. Three students are producers and they are Sydney Roberts, Claire Teusche and Lydia Leggit.
The kids have been rehearsing for six weeks. Pederson has been directing the middle school play for eight years. She says she likes to teach the students acting techniques and the basics of theatre etiquette. She adds how the cast and crew become a family and how they work together to put on a quality show.
The performance will be at the Greene County High School auditorium on Friday, March 20th at 7pm. Admission is free and it is open to the public.
