Guthrie County’s 5,000 acre shrine to nature, Whiterock Conservancy has recently received a team of staff from around the country. A group of 9 people from the AmeriCorps Civilian Community Corps will be helping out at Whiterock through April 23rd. The team will help control invasive species, perform controlled burns and help with other duties to keep the area pristine. Members of the team come from as far east as North Carolina, as far west as California, as far south as Florida and as far north as Washington State.
