2014 will go down as a season to remember for Perry Bluejay soccer.  Perry was the state runner up in the finals losing to Norwalk while setting a school record for wins in a season.  The challenge facing Perry this season will be to not rest on last year’s laurels and try to take it one step further this season.

“Our off season has consisted of a lot of guys playing year round soccer,” stated RRC Coach of the Year Gary Overla.  “Our kids play a lot of soccer with various indoor groups and organizations.  We have a few guys who are part of the Menace program and the kids play a lot at the Rec Center here in Perry on the evenings.  I think everybody is excited and ready to go.”

Perry officially opened up practice yesterday with 2 different practice times due to the high number of student participation.  Overla reported over 80 kids have signed up for the sport of soccer at Perry.
