Students in the Perry School District don’t have class this week due to spring break but there’s no shortage of things for them to do. Thanks, in part, to the Perry Public Library.
Director Mary Murphy says they have a week’s worth of events planned for kids of all ages, starting tonight with a teddy bear slumber party.
“Have you ever wondered what your teddy bear does when you go to school or you’re not around? Well, all the kids are invited to bring their stuffed animal they don’t mind leaving at the library overnight and they’ll have a little party with a craft, a snack and a game. Then the teddy bears get to stay overnight at the library and enjoy some fun and activities when you’re not around.”
Other activities this week include a St. Patrick’s Day party tomorrow afternoon, a local author and illustrator visit Wednesday and Lego Lab on Friday.
