A deputy was advised of a dog running at large in the 500 block of South 11th Street in  Grand Junction. The dog was not located upon the deputy’s arrival.

Fire units from Grand Junction and Jefferson all responded to a reported structure fire at 8th and Kelly Street in Grand Junction. Grand Junction fire units were on scene within three minutes from the initial call and the home was fully engulfed at that time. One male was sleeping inside the home at the time of the fire, but escaped and was taken by private transport to the Greene County Medical Center to be checked for smoke inhalation. The home was estimated to be a total loss.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1500 block of Q Avenue for the report of a suspicious male standing in the roadway. The male at that residence was spoken to by the deputy.

A deputy was unable to find a reported vehicle along the roadway on N Avenue and 190th Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
