The Perry boys soccer team will have their first practice of the season Monday in anticipation of the upcoming season. The Bluejays will be trying to follow up a state runner up finish at last year’s state tournament. Perry won two games in Des Moines before falling to Norwalk in the state final. Gary Overla returns as the head coach and will be looking to get the Jays ready for the season opener on April 4th when they host the Perry Invitational. Fans will have plenty of chances to watch Perry this year with ten home dates on the schedule. The Raccoon River Conference opener will be on April 7th at Winterset.
