Paton-Churdan junior Carleigh Paup continues to haul in the postseason basketball honors. The high-scoring guard led Class 1A in points per game at over 25 per contest for players who played the entire season. Paup was named to the Class 1A second All-State team by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association, and she was a third team selection by the Des Moines Sunday Register. The latest honors are in addition to all-conference, all-district, and all-region recognition last week.

The Rockets won 14 games this season and expectations will be even higher next season with nearly the entire team returning for coach Chris Petersen.
