The Greene County Chamber of Commerce recently announced its new board officers for 2015.
Omega Sang is the President of the Board, John Brunow is Vice President, Tori Riley is Secretary, Nikki Uebel is Treasurer and Ben Yoder is the past-president.
Yoder served as the president in 2014 and part of 2015. Previously, he served as president in 2012 and has been on the Board since 2009. He will continue to serve on the Board for the rest of the year. Sang thanks Yoder for his dedicated leadership.
“He has given so much of himself, of his time (and) of his talents to make the Chamber a successful organization within our community and we are forever grateful.”
Sang is looking forward to taking on the responsibilities of being the new president.
“I’m excited about the other business individuals I get to work with on the executive committee as well as on the full Board. They’re a wonderful group of people and we all have the same heart and mind and that is to make Greene County a wonderful place to live and visit.”
The Board anticipates hiring a new executive director in the next several months and possibly, a tourism and events coordinator. The full board also includes Toni Linberg, Nick Foster, Angie Pedersen, Rob Schultz and Bret Durbin.
