Paton-Chudan won 75-44 in Guthrie Center on Tuesday night in a Class 1A boys’ district semifinal basketball game vs. Adair-Casey. The Rockets continue what is their best season in terms of victories in decades as they improved to 20-3. P-C led 16-1 minutes into the game and was up 21-6 at the end of the first quarter and 44-21 at halftime. The continuous clock for a lead of 35 points or more was in effort for the fourth quarter.

Junior Noah Juergensen scored 24 points and Colton Fitzpatrick added 19 for the Rockets. The Bombers were led by Emmitt Wheatley’s 16 points.

P-C advances to the 1A district title game on Thursday night in Panora.
