The Panorama girls basketball team beat Des Moines Christian by one point in both their regular season games. Unfortunately for the the Panthers, Des Moines Christian got vengeance with a one point victory last night in a 32 to 31 regional championship game which sends Des Moines Christian to the State Basketball Tournament, and ends Panorama’s season. The single point game came down to a last ditch effort three point shot from Panorama Senior Brooke Beckman. The shot was close enough to give Panorama head coach Dan Druivenga temporary hope. “Thought for sure it was gonna be short, then I said ‘Oh my god, it’s gonna go in’, then it hit the front of the rim.”

Panorama ends the season with a record of 21-3, and as West Central Conference champions.
