Greene County ISU Extension office is offering several commercial pesticide applicator continuing instructional courses later this month and in March.

A recertification course will be held on Wednesday, February 18th for Category 4-Seed Treatment-from 9-11:30am.  On March 4th also from 9-11:30am will be a continuing instructional course for Category 3O-Ornamental, 3T-Turf Pest and 3OT-Ornamental and Turf Pest.  Category H-Certified Handlers course will be held on March 24th from 9-11:30am.  There will also be Category 10-Demonstration and Research during any of the other courses.  All workshops will be at the Extension office in Jefferson.

An additional course will be offered for Certified Handlers to receive continuing education units to be a Certified Crop Advisor.  Participants must bring their crop advisor card to receive credit.  State law requires that the courses be completed by the end of the year for individuals to maintain their commercial pesticide certification.
