Guthrie Center High School had 6 wrestlers finish in the top four of their weight classes at the district meet at I35 High School this past weekend, but only two of them finished in the top 2 and will advance to State. Austin Laabs finished 2nd in the 182 pound weight class, and Cale Crowder won the 220 pound weight class.

Panorama had their district meet at South Hamilton High School in Jewell, where they had four wrestlers finish in the top 4, but two will be advancing to State. George Appleseth finish second in the 106 pound weight class, and Marcus Boldy won the 220 pound weight class.

The State wrestling meet will start this Thursday, and will take place at Wells Fargo Arena in downtown Des Moines.
