The Earlham boys varsity basketball team clinched a West Central Conference win with a victory at West Central Valley last night. So, tonight, the Panorama boys are playing for a second place tie by having to beat a team with the most explosive offense in all of Class 2A boys basketball. Woodward Academy’s offense is ranked number one by the BCMoore Power Rankings, the team averages 75 points per game, and scored 121 in a recent contest against Earlham. Panorama beat Woodward Academy 77-74 last month, and Panorama’s head coach Brad Halterman says defense is key in a high scoring shootout with Woodward Academy. “Defensively, we’ve got to do our job. We’ve got some things in our defensive plan to slow some players down, and defensively is where we’re gonna have to win that ball game for sure.”
Tipoff is set for 7:30 pm in the Panorama High School gym.
