Guthrie Center had 10 wrestlers compete at the sectional meet in Audubon on Saturday, and is sending seven of them to the District meet this Saturday at I-35 High School in Truro. Guthrie Center’s head wrestling coach Shawn Danker says it’s a little bit different getting ready for a District meet, because you can prepare for certain wrestlers. “You gameplan,a little more strategy on what they’re gonna do, and what you’re gonna do. You still have to wrestle your match and do the things you do best.”

The seven Guthrie Center wrestlers making the jump to Districts are Brock Beeler, Austin Laabs, Lane Rumelhart, Cale Crowder, Tom Heron, and Teddy Daggett and Zach Fees. Wrestling starts at noon, Saturday at I-35 High School.
