The Guthrie Center City Council will meet tonight in regular session for a busy meeting. Firstly, the council will hear monthly reports from all of the city’s department heads. Next, the council will discuss new business items, including animal nuisance procedures, forming a joint committee with the county to discuss law enforcement options, and discussing a Guthrie County State Bank design committee. Old business that will be discussed includes a dog ordinance, and random drug screens for city employees. Additionally, an inspection of Randolph Apartments will be discussed as well. The meeting will begin at 6 pm, tonight inside of the Guthrie Center clerk’s office.
