Friday, February 6th

A deputy was asked to try and help locate a juvenile female from Jefferson that maybe at a residence in Grand Junction. The female was located and her mother was advised.

A deputy was advised of an unoccupied vehicle that had experience mechanical problems on Highway 30 near L Avenue. The vehicle was placed on the 24 hour removal list.

A deputy was asked to check the welfare of several persons in the 700 block of 310th Street.

A deputy was dispatched to a reported single vehicle accident on U Avenue (Highway 144) near 200th Street. A 2004 Chevrolet Impala that was being driven by Nicole Terri Dentlinger  19, of rural Coon Rapids, stated that she was southbound on Highway 144 when she drove off the roadway and overcorrected, causing her vehicle to enter the east ditch. Nicole Dentlinger was not injured, but her car sustained an estimated $1500 in damages.

A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle off the roadway on Highway 30 near Jefferson. The vehicle was placed on the 24 hour removal list.

Saturday, February 7th

The Iowa state Patrol and the Greene County Sheriff’s office provided traffic control in Rippey  for the BRR Bicycle Ride from Perry.

A deputy was asked to check a residence in the 200 block of 1st street in Grand Junction.

Sunday, February 8th

A deputy was advised of a residential alarm activation in the 700 block of West Avenue. The homeowner was called and advised that he had accidentally set the alarm off and the deputy could disregard.

A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of Bell Street in Churdan to help mediate a verbal domestic altercation. The issue was resolved without incident.

A deputy was advised of a dog running at large near the 1100 block of State Street in Scranton. The dog had run from the area before the deputy’s arrival.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
