A former Iowa State Trooper, and advocate against use of any illegal drugs, State Representative Clel Baudler has been focusing a lot of his time over the past couple of years to lower the amount of K2 and synthetic drugs being trafficked into and being used in Iowa. Baudler admits however, that since the Combat Meth bill of 2005 limited the sale of pseudoephedrine, little has been done to curtail the methamphetamine problem that exists around the state. “I don’t know of any meth legislation as of this time. There might be some, but I don’t know of any. People that are addicted to it, are probably going to gamble and break the law.”

Tune into Let’s Talk Guthrie County today during the 9 am, noon and 5 pm hours to hear Baudler weigh in more on illegal drug use, as well as several other key issues facing the Iowa legislature.
