Live entertainment the night before, breakfast the morning of, food and more live music afterward, not to mention the people watching… the Bike Ride to Rippey is an entertaining weekend for all, whether you want to get on a bicycle or not.
“Friday night at the Crooked Rail, Brendon McKnight’s band Hearts of Headons. Brendon was a local graduate of Perry High School, he’ll be opening up the BRR weekend so Friday night that’s a great opportunity for locals to come out and support a former Perry resident and also a Perry business. The Perry Lions Club will have a breakfast down at the Hotel Pattee that morning, the hotel restaurant will be open as well. When you get back the Crooked Rail will be having live music and food all day, La Poste will have their post BRR party with a soup and salad supper and the Raccoon River Boys band with a cash bar and I know they have a bunch of hot drinks and beverages.”
That’s Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Wilson who invites all locals and visitors to come check it out.
The Raccoon Valley Radio “Big Red Radio” will be set up right outside the Hotel Pattee Saturday morning broadcasting live, playing music and making announcements.
Registration starts Saturday at 7:30am and the ride kicks off at 10:00.
