The Panorama varsity girls basketball team with a 15-2 record has what could be their toughest remaining game in the regular season tonight as they prepare to host a 12-5 Van Meter team. Panorama head coach Dan Druivenga admits it could be a dangerously close game, “Van Meter is a really good team, we’re kind of leery of them. We won by ten, but I remember it was a one point game with a few minutes left, before we made a bucket or two, then they started fouling. Van Meter is someone that you can’t overlook.”
Panorama is led in scoring by senior Jessi Campbell who is averaging close to 14 points per game, Van Meter is led by sophomore phenom Mackenzie Roberts who is averaging over 18 points per game. Tip off is set for 6 pm tonight at the Panorama High School gym.
