Amanda Finneseth of Perry left home early last year for an extensive mission trip.  The World Race is an 11 month journey to 11 different countries.

We last touched base with her around the half-way point of her trip in June.  Since then she finished up the remainder of her stay in Asia, followed by two months in Africa before returning home the day before Thanksgiving.

“Every month was different because every month we were working in a new country with new ministries.  So what we did is we would travel the beginning of the month and then we would partner alongside a ministry that was already established.  So some of them were local ministries put on by the natives and others were put on by American missionaries.  Some of the times we worked with street youth, other times we would do sports camps, evangelism, go door-to-door.  I also got to work in a clinic for two different months and I absolutely loved that.”
