Those who need to update their pet’s vaccinations can come to a low cost clinic this weekend in Jefferson.

Linn Price with Animal Protection and Education Charity in Paton is sponsoring the event at the Jefferson Depot on Sunday, February 1st.

Price says they will provide packages that includes an exam, distempering for cats and dogs, rabies shots for both cats and dogs and free identification microchipping.  The total cost for the package is $35 for cats and $45 for dogs.  Pets must be over 12-weeks old to receive a rabies vaccination.

Pet owners must provide proof of prior vaccinations to receive the multi-year rabies vaccine.
