The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet this morning in regular session for more discussion about the upcoming budget, and a couple of important law enforcement topics. Firstly, the Supervisors will hear from Sheriff Marty Arganbright about his department, before hearing from Guthrie Center Mayor Denny Kunkle about the possibility of the sheriff’s department taking over law enforcement duties for the City of Guthrie Center. Additionally, Public Health Administrator Jotham Arber will give his 2015/16 fiscal year budget review, and Auditor Jerri Christman will present the treasurer’s semi-annual report, and will appoint a Stuart township trustee to fill a vacancy. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. inside of the Guthrie County courthouse.
