The Panorama boys varsity basketball team, now 11-3 on the season is looking to bounce back into the win column after a tough loss to Earlham earlier in the week which knocked them out of a shared first place conference standing. Panorama’s leading scorer is Gavin Richey, who’s averaging nearly 14 points per game, the senior has shown excellent consistency, posting a 59% field goal percentage as well. The Guthrie Center boys are 1-12 on the season, and are led by junior Sam Courtney, who’s averaging shy of 11 points per game.
Despite the dramatic variance in wins, and perceived talent this season, Panorama head coach Brad Halterman says his team doesn’t get over-confident, “You’re gonna get their best, and we’re gonna give them our best. We prepare for a team with one loss the same way we prepare for a team with one win. We’re going into it totally prepared to play, and ready to play our style of basketball.”
The game will begin at approximately 7:45 pm inside of the Guthrie Center High School gym, immediately following the girls varsity game.
