Starting tonight the Greene County basketball teams will be on the road often over the next 10 days. A trip to Jewell vs. South Hamilton gets the string of appearances away from Jefferson started. Coach Chad Morton’s Greene County girls are 6-7 overall and 6-5 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference games while the So. Hamilton girls are 2-13 overall and 2-11 in the league. On the boys’ side, Coach Jeramie Hinote’s team is 6-6 overall and 6-4 in HOIAC games with SH at 2-11 overall and 2-8 in the conference. The Greene County teams won both ends of the first doubleheader between the schools last month in Jefferson.
