A free estate planning meeting will take place this weekend in Jefferson.

The program on wills and estate planning will be at the First United Methodist Church in the fireside room in Jefferson on Sunday, January 25th at 2pm.

Topics that will be covered include planning estates for both stewardship and taxation, tools for taking your estate inventory, a discussion on living wills and medical power of attorney, ethical wills and the use of wills, trusts, insurance, securities, property and make charitable gifts.  The guest presenter is Kevin Gowdy, the executive director of the Iowa United Methodist Foundation.

No pre-registration is required and the meeting is free and open to the public.
