MJ Electric from Center Point, Iowa reported the theft of a battery from a machine they use for electrical wire while parked at 924 Madison St., Dexter.

Christopher Uss of Adel was traveling south on R Ave when he entered the curve and began to lose traction.  Uss went off the shoulder and crossed back across the road striking a vehicle driven by Cynthia James of Van Meter.  No injuries reported. Damage to Uss’s vehicle estimated at $1500.00 and $1500.00 to James’s.

Brandon Fredrick Elliott, age 33 of Panora was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of OWI.

Michael Patrick Benton, age 31 of 924 Central, Perry was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for show cause hearing-original charge of assault on peace officers.

Kailey Beth Coates, age 21 of 1813 Bennett Dr., West Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for probation violation and failure to appear-original charge of theft.

Brenton Michael Davisson, age 27 of 306 Cedar Ave., Woodward was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of domestic abuse assault.
