The Stuart Rescue Unit is attempting to raise money for a Lucas Chest Compression System, which can essentially act as an extra set of hands to perform CPR, with the benefit of never getting tired. The only setback is that the piece of equipment costs around fifteen thousand dollars. To help raise part of the cost, Stuart Rescue will raise money at their annual luncheon which will be held Sunday February, 15th from 11 am to 1:30 pm at West Central Valley High School in Stuart, which will feature a menu of chili, chicken noodle soup and cinnamon rolls. If you’re unable to attend the luncheon next month, but still want to help finance the chest compressor, you can send all donations to Stuart Rescue, PO Box 370, Stuart, Iowa 50250.
