Wrestling and basketball teams from Greene County High School are in action tonight. The wrestlers travel to Gilbert for a 6 p.m. double-dual meet vs. Heart of Iowa Activities Conference rival Gilbert, and Hawkeye 10 Conference member Kuemper Catholic (Carroll). The teams will wrestle in the Gilbert Middle School (old high school). Coach Mark Sawhill’s Rams are 5-8 in dual meets overall and 1-3 in the conference.

The Rams host CMB (Maxwell) tonight in the middle school gym in Jefferson in girls and boys basketball. The Rams are 5-7 on the girls side and 5-6 in boys’ play. In the HOIAC, Coach Chad Morton’s team is 5-5, with Coach Jeramie Hinote’s squad at 5-4 in the league. The CMB girls are 2-12 overall and 2-9 in the conference while the boys are 5-7 overall and 4-6 in the league.
