The Adel Public Library invites everyone to attend a special event next month as they bring in a unique speaker and author.
Hannah Trebec grew up on the East German side of the Berlin Wall and will share her story with attendees on Saturday February 7th. After the wall was torn down in 1989, Trebec took both a real life perspective and a piece of the wall itself with her.
She moved to Iowa in 1995 and has since written a book called Double Cover Up. At the event, Trebec will share her experience, sign books and discuss the book.
It takes place at the library at 11am. For more information, call 993-3512.
