The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Department says they were eluded in a high speed chase earlier this month, after what is suspected to be a large, dark-colored, three-quarter ton Chevy pickup truck sped away from officers at speeds in excess of 90 miles per hour. The pursuit started after a deputy patrolling the Bagley area observed the truck on Quail Road speed past the stop sign at the Highway 141 intersection at nearly one-hundred miles per hour, and going airborne through the intersection. The deputy then attempted to catch up to the vehicle, chasing him into southern Greene County before finally terminating the pursuit west of Rippey. There are currently no suspects in the January 3rd high speed chase, anyone with any information is asked to call the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Department at 641-747-2214.
