On the first night of the 2014-15 Greene County High School wrestling season, senior Jordan Challen reached a career milestone with his 99th and 100th career victories. Challen is now 18-1 this season and his 116 victories rank him tenth on the program’s all-time win list. Two of Challen’s teammates are getting close to hitting 10o wins, which could happen this week for one and in the next couple of weeks for another.

Senior Abe Yoder is 20-3 this season and he’s sitting on 98 career victories. Junior Tommy Bradshaw is 16-2 this season and he has 90 career wins.

The Rams were to have hosted a double dual meet on Thursday, Jan. 15, but that has now been reduced to a single dual vs. Nevada in the middle school gym in Jefferson at 6 p.m. It’s also Senior Night for Challen, Yoder, and fellow senior Jamie Theulen. Yoder could pick up win number 99 vs. the Cubs, and he’ll likely hit the century mark on Saturday, Jan. 17 in Eldora at the South Hardin tournament.

Greene County was third at the Creston Panther Invite last Saturday with Challen (138 lbs.) and Bradshaw (145 lbs.) both claiming individuals titles.
