Perry set the tone early Tuesday night hitting 8 of their first 11 shots in defeating Bondurant Farrar in RRC play 57-37.  Perry opened up a 17-6 first quarter lead and maintained a double digit cushion the entire way through.  The Jayettes led 30-11 at halftime and Bondurant Farrar cut it to 14 once and that would be as close as they come.  The Jayettes enjoyed a balanced score sheet with Maggie Lowe leading the way with 18 points in limited minutes.  Lowe sat the final six and half minutes of the first half after picking up 3 fouls.  She finished 3-4 from three-point land.  Claire Marburger added 12 points.   Senior Amy Marckres was 4-6 from the floor with 8 points while Grace Marburger added 8 as well.

“Coach always tells me to shoot the ball if I’m open and the shots fell tonight,” said Marckres following the game.  “We wanted to start and jump out early on them and that’s what we did.  We can’t take anybody lightly in this conference.”

The Jayettes improve to 10-2 on the season and 5-1 in RRC play.  BF falls to 3-9 and 1-6 in RRC play.  The Jayettes return home to the Pavillion Friday night for a 600 matchup with Boone.
