The Jefferson Police Department issues another warrant for a suspect in connection with an ongoing investigation.

Captain Mark Clouse says 25 year-old Joshua St. John of Jefferson is accused and charged with a Class D Felony for forgery along with an aggravated misdemeanor for child endangerment, serious misdemeanors for nine counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs, two counts of possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

The charges stem from an executed search warrant on December 2nd at 106 ½ East State Street when authorities recovered suspected drugs and stolen checks and prescription drugs from another residence.

John’s girlfriend, 28 year-old Nicole Lynn Johnson who is also from Jefferson has been charged with similar offenses and she was booked and released from the Greene County Jail and she remains in the Carroll County Jail for a probation violation.

John hasn’t been arrested yet, but once he’s apprehended, he will be booked and released from the Greene County Jail.
