A notice for Jefferson residents that City Hall will be undergoing a hardware and software computer upgrade starting at 8:30am today.
All City Hall staff will be without emails and computers the entire day today. Along with the equipment upgrade, most of the phone lines will also be in use due to the upgrade mainly coming through the phone lines. Residents may experience delayed answering times if they try to reach City Hall by phone or may experience a constant busy signal.
Residents can still pay their bills today, but they may have to come into City Hall where the staff will have paper print outs available. You may not be able to pay your bills through the computer or over the phone until Monday.
City Hall staff thanks its residence ahead of time for their patience and understanding while improvements are made to their systems.
