The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Department was the recipient of a recent 9-1-1 Grant, which Sheriff Marty Arganbright says they used to replace their dispatch recorders with, and still have some money left over, “There was a 9-1-1 grant this year, that we replaced our recorders here in the dispatch room. And there could be some money left over. Last year I had a problem with our generator up at the tower, and it cut power and we didn’t have a back up generator, so I’m gonna try to get a stationary generator there.”
Arganbright says his department is always pursuing different grants in order to help with their expenses.
