A deputy assisted the Grand Junction Fire and Rescue with a medical call at a residence in the 100 block of East Main Street in Grand Junction.

A deputy responded to residential alarm activation at a residence in the 400 block of East Paton Street in Paton. The home was found to be secure.

The Chief Deputy Sheriff was dispatched to 1700 block of R Avenue to collect some drug paraphernalia that was found in a ditch by  Greene County Secondary Road personnel.

A deputy spoke with a Greene County resident about his concern of semi-tractor trailers using their  “Jake” brakes at stop signs near residential homes.

Several deputies responded to a reported single vehicle accident at the intersection of Quint Avenue and 240th Street. A 2004 Nissan Maxima that was being driven by Karah Jane Brown 17, of Jefferson, was westbound on 240th Street and was unable to slow down for the approaching T intersection onto Quint Avenue and drove into the west ditch. Karah Brown was not injured but her vehicle was estimated to be a total loss. Brown was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control of her vehicle.

A deputy was assisted by a Jefferson Police Officer in locating a reported erratic and careless driver near Jefferson.

A deputy is investigating a reported threat made by a male subject that involved a former spouse.

In all case when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
