The West Central Valley girls lost to a good Van Meter team on Tuesday night, 38-49, falling to 3-4 on the season. The team is looking to head into the two week holiday break with a .500 record, and varsity head coach Drew Stonewall says the team is evenly matched with Friday night opponent, Ogden, “Ogden’s off to a good start, too, a decent start. They have some strong guard play, but I think we do too.” The Ogden varsity girls have won their last two and is now 4-3 on the season.
