We’re in the middle of the holiday season and several Greene County organizations are doing their part to give back to the community.
Greene County Adopt-A-Family is sponsoring a silent auction of 12 holiday wreaths on the south room of the Greene County Courthouse in Jefferson. Bids will be accepted until 2pm on Thursday, December 18th. All proceeds will benefit the local Adopt-A-Family.
Jefferson Rotary Club recently made a donation to local kindergarten through sixth graders with a $600 donation and a match grant from the Rotary District 6000 to purchase almost 100 coats for their Warm Coats Project.
Trinity Lutheran Church made a donation of $350 and over 300 food and household items to the Greene County Action Resource Center in Jefferson.
