Those looking for something to do this holiday season can stay right here in Greene County.

Greene County Chamber Director Chris Henning says they will have their Hometown Holiday brochure available next week that features several holiday open houses and other activities from area businesses to organizations.  They will be available at all libraries, Chamber sponsors and at the Chamber office.

Henning points out that anyone who didn’t have their event included in the brochure will have another opportunity later this winter.

“Last year, we were able to not only unveil it just before Thanksgiving, but we did several updates for it.  So that while it would be good to have everything in it the first time, we understand that sometimes things come up and they need to be publicized, so we’ll get those out there.”

Chamber members also have several opportunities to sponsor other events like the free merchant movie next month, a coloring contest, holiday music on the square and a Chamber check promotion.
