Donations are still needed for this year’s Shop with a Cop program in Perry.

Detective Sergeant Jerome Hill says each year they try to help around two dozen local families. This means each child selected gets $125 to go shopping for gifts, along with a full Christmas dinner for the family to enjoy and a pizza party while they wrap the presents.

Hill says while there are a lot of different causes you can contribute to, especially this time of year, this one helps support your neighbors.
