A meeting is taking place tomorrow morning designed to educate farmers, or those affected by agricultural on the new Farm Bill. ISU Extension Ag and Farm Management Specialist Shane Ellis will be the main presenter at the event and will be joined by representatives from the FSA to answer questions at the end of the event. Ellis further describes the purpose of the event, “It will be an opportunity to talk about some of the changes that will be having, and the opportunity that producers will have to update some of the numbers that are used in determining payments that come from these programs. We’ll talk about the ins and outs and nuts and bolts and what they have to do. And then, we’ll talk about how these programs work, and the economic impact to them could be from these programs.”
